NBCUNIVERSAL cAMPAIGN PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERN

OVERVIEW

In Summer 2024, I joined NBCUniversal’s Television & Streaming division as a Campaign Project Manager Intern, embedded within a fast-paced marketing team that delivers campaigns for iconic brands including E!, SYFY, and Bravo. This internship gave me a front-row seat to the business of entertainment, allowing me to sharpen my skills in cross-functional collaboration, content development, and creative strategy while contributing directly to high-profile digital campaigns.

OBJECTIVE

NBCUniversal tasked me with supporting campaign launches across multiple networks—helping manage creative assets, ensure project timelines, and contribute ideas that could spark audience engagement across social and digital platforms.

SHORT FORM CONTENT PRODUCTION

I edited 6 short-form videos for E!'s digital channels using TV clip archives, talent quotes, and trending audio. These clips were distributed across Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok—earning 6M+ views, 266K+ likes, and 7K+ shares during the campaign window.

SYFY PITCH

I co-pitched an original show concept for SYFY, helping brainstorm loglines, tone references, and genre hooks for a potential unscripted format. I contributed to the creative deck and presented insights during internal pitch reviews—gaining hands-on exposure to the ideation pipeline.

TAKEAWAYS

NBCUniversal taught me the pace and polish required in the entertainment industry. I walked away with a deeper understanding of campaign strategy, creative development, and how iconic brands connect with global audiences through storytelling. This experience fueled my drive to lead future campaigns that blend entertainment with cultural relevance.

REFLECTION

As a former NBCU intern across two years (Digital Innovation in 2023, Campaign Project Management in 2024), I’m proud of how I evolved from a curious contributor to a confident creative partner. I came in ready to learn—and left with network credits, pitch room experience, and a sharpened vision of my future in brand storytelling.
